This holiday season The City of Philadelphia will illuminate Boathouse Row, located on the Schuylkill River, with festive colors in celebration of Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanza throughout December.

In addition to LOVE Park, Christmas Village in Philadelphia will also take over the City Hall Courtyard to bring back additional vendors and the beloved Holiday Carousel in a socially distanced way.

Visitors can celebrate the magic of the holidays both day and night in festive Franklin Square. Franklin Square brings the magic of the holidays back with health and safety protocols, expanded seating, and plenty of fresh air to enjoy new and old traditions, so that everyone can still have fun while being safe.

Enjoy Winter in Franklin Square presented by Citizens, dazzle in the lights of the Electrical Spectacle Holiday Light Show presented by PECO, warm up with special holiday fare at SquareBurger operated by Cooperage, and more!

Other celebrations include Santa Saturdays, Hanukkah Dreidel Giveaway with Old City Jewish Arts Center, and Kwanzaa Weekend with the African American Museum in Philadelphia.

Center City District

Skate, stroll, shop, eat and drink at one of the City's premier winter experiences now through February. Philadelphia’s premier wintertime attractions at Dilworth Park will return this season with new safety protocols in accord with City, State and CDC guidelines, including mandatory masks.

The winter season at Dilworth Park is presented by the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute and supported by 6abc and Temple University. Winter attractions include the Wintergarden on the Greenfield Lawn, the return of the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink and Cabin, Deck the Hall Holiday Lights, and the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market where visitors can browse and buy unique gifts from local vendors in Philadelphia.
